HISTORY
Avrasya Montessori School was established in 1981 as an alternative to the traditional education establishment in the city. We began with a handful of students and a dedicated and energetic group of parents. Since the first day we have encouraged and accepted children and families from a wide spectrum of ethnic, social and economic backgrounds.

The school resides in a turn of the century two-story farmhouse that is now in the middle of the city. The building has been completely renovated without sacrificing its unique homey warmth and character.

The first floor provides a roomy environment for the Primary class with areas arranged for Practical Life, Mathematics, Language, Geography, and Personal Care with a full complement of Didactic Materials.

The second floor is home to the Elementary class and provides the resources for continuing the children's learning into their elementary years.
